Shelburne sees eight deed transfers in late summer, most tied to banks or family trusts
Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded eight Shelburne property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $50,000 to $100,000, with a median of $60,000. The period's largest disclosed sale was 72 Mechanic St. for $100,000, sold by Stephanie Bellinger and Matt Larrabee to Greenfield Cooperative Bank. Banks or credit unions appeared as a buyer or seller in five of the eight deeds, and three transfers involved family trusts, including two Taylor family transfers on South Shelburne Road and one Shelburne address. With most sale prices undisclosed, the data offers a limited view of the local market this period.
